How to Mint Lute

Using the Contract

New Lute's may only be minted (created) from the official contract. This can feel a little daunting. This guide is designed to make the process a little more approachable.

You may attempt to claim any Lute (for Bands) token ID up to 7,777. Numbers 7,778 - 8,000 are reserved for the project developers, who all claim for a gas fee as well.

First, go to the contract.

Then:

1. Navigate to the 'Contract Tab' midway down the page, then click the Write Contract button.
2. Click the 'Connect to Web3' button to authorize your MetaMask.
3. Twirl open option '3. claim'
4. Enter the Token ID number that you would like to mint. This is not the number of tokens, you only mint one at a time. This will be your Band number.
5. Press the 'Write' button to open MetaMask and proceed with minting.
6. Within MetaMask verify the gas fee. Please note: If gas appears as a VERY high number, that means that the Token ID you requested has already been claimed.

To claim multiple Lutes, simply repeat steps 4 - 6 above.

Newly claimed Lutes may take a bit of time to appear on Open Sea after they are created. So just because a Band number isn't on Open Sea, that doesn't mean that it may not have already been claimed!
